What make you say that.   A man is charged with assaulting a police and 2 posters come to the defense of the charged person stating he didn't assault the police.  There was no video released showing the incident, so I'm honestly wondering how the you and Marty came to your conclusion that there was no assault, and if you think its ok to take the same action that Scheffler has been reported to have taken.  That's not politics, it's simply questioning the actions of an athlete as we quite often do on various sections of this board.

One needs to have an understanding to the inner workings of a PGA tour event and the right away courtesy cars have to common traffic to fully assess the situation. Guessing it wss an honest mistake.

IMO, the world #1 deserves the benefit of the doubt here and an apology from the mayor and even the governor of KY.
