It's the worst opening ceremony I've ever seen.  It seemed like everyone had a suggestion, and they took the suggestions, and did them all.  There didn't seem to be a common thread.  It was just a bunch of unrelated crap.

Being as the opening ceremony showcases the culture and history of the host nation as well as the athletes, it seems France is similar to the mind of a person with severe ADHD without the benefit of meds. All over the place with no clue what's going on. 

The athletes seemed to be an afterthought. 

Currently watching women's synchro diving. This and synchro swimming are fascinating to watch. I can't imagine the time and effort it takes to do those sports. 

Our two ladies look more like they do CrossFit.
