While I always pull for the American athletes, the performances of Leon Marchand from France and Mollie O'Callaghan in swimming were incredible. The biggest surprise was swimmer Torri Huske from the USA who won 3 gold medals and 5 overall.

The dedication shown by these athletes to reach this stage is extremely impressive and admirable. Finally, the overall sportsmanship shown by the athletes (winners and non-winners) has been equally impressive. Our politicians could learn a lesson from these athletes in this area!
