They see the Dolphins, Chiefs and Ravens within 10 days. During the December 15th - 25th stretch. That's tough. Really tough.

This is after we play each other on the 1st of that month in Jacksonville before they get their bye week. So, depending on that game. Could see some interesting opportunities up for grabs.

I expect Stroud to play just like he did last year though. Big arm. Big plays. Buying time in the pocket with his mobility, etc.

The way the schedule is set-up between the Texans and Jags (based purely on current SoS), it looks like the Texans should get off to a fast start with a difficult end of the season.  Where the Jags are the opposite, tough start with an easier end of the season. Should make this year quite an interesting battle heading into the playoffs.

Double edged sword for the Jags with the early schedule.

While it is nice to finish with some ostensibly "weaker" opponents when your own team might be banged up, they have to come out of the gate with a new defensive scheme and staff ready to hold off some very potent offenses.

They've got Miami and Buffalo - both on the road in the first 4 games of the year.
Both of those offenses were top 5 in yards per game and top ten in points per game.
Ryan Nielsen's preparation and install will be tested early on a tough curve.

tinhorns have to hope they are healthy come December.
