In contrast, there are a numbers of teams right past number 3(if Texans and JAgs both pass) that will eat up Manziel and Bridgewater if they fall, including Browns, Raiders, and Vikings. No way all three of those teams pass on them IMO.

 

And call me crazy hurricane, but I still have the idea that if somehow Manziel does indeed drop, that Jerry Jones will be Jerry Jones and take him when the Cowboys turn comes around, and if not him then Chip Kelly(who is almost as crazy as Jerry) will snatch him up. No way Manziel makes if out of the first. Not with Jerry and Chip sitting down there IMO.

 

Logically, I agree with everything you stated above.  However, it appears that GMs have become so weary about selecting the wrong QB (non-franchise) that if one is not available, they won't spend their 1st rounder on a QB.  Last year, there were a number of teams that needed a QB (bills, jags, cards, titans, browns, raiders, vikes) --- perhaps the difference this year is that the jags, browns, vikes, and titans all confirmed last season that their incombent QB was terrible.  This would support your statement that all 3 will be gone prior to our 2nd round pick.    Strange things happen on draft day.   Manziel to the Cowboys would be crazy entertainment !!!
