You are insinuating that Trevor and/or this coaching staff needs an all-pro staff to succeed.  A good coaching staff would scheme up situations where a wide receiver was running wide open a couple of times a game with backup tackles like we see all to often from other teams.

Nah, they just need a pro level roster. Our best lineman is an aging vet who we were damn lucky to get but not anywhere close to Boselli. After him are a right tackle who seems to have regressed to poor play, a perennially average at best left, a right guard who can't move anyone off the ball in either pass or run and a left guard who can't seem to run block anymore. Guys like Widell and Coleman who were pretty average in their time are miles ahead of Scherff and Robinson and Leon was also borderline great for a few years. The comparison between the late 90s line and the current one is Varsity high school to Pop Warner and we all know it man. That's why we pounded the table all off season to fix it. But you know who thought otherwise.
