We were much more dynamic in 2022, in 2023, we stopped doing those things that made us successful.  The Mods said it was because of the O-Line.  Some posters disagreed.  And the trolls blamed Trevor Lawrence.

That's the gist of 2023.  We regressed in 2023.  We went away from what made us good in 2022. It was obvious to some that the 2023 offensive scheme, game plan, and play calling wasn't the same as it was in 2022.  It's just the fact that we got worse in 2023 than we were in 2022.  Why that is?  Well.  Apparently I was wrong.  I thought it was because of the OC.

But clearly, it's because of Doug.  I guess I was wrong.  I'm assuming since you recognized the regression you see that the coaching staff has to go.

I don't care to reahash your unhealthy obsession and revisionist history with you. It's tired. 

Luckily - the post you are replying to was made after week 2 and since then (meaning week 4) we have begun to see Doug and Press make some adjustments and we've begun to see the OL protect better. 

I think things are looking up a bit if the week 4 game was an indication of things to come on those fronts. 

If I personally am unhappy with anything from this offense it is that the scheme is a hodgepodge of concepts that doesn't contain enough high percentage plays. Difficulty level is unnecessarily high compared to 22/23. 
 But they seem to be getting a bit more dialed in on what works. 
This week will be a good chance to see if they can focus on some strengths and get the deep shots well timed in their playcalling sequence, because Kirk and BTJ are getting open - they just need to align good protection and good throws with those instances more consistently.

What I find funny is what I bolded from your response.  These are all the things most of us in the game day threads have been complaining about for 2 seasons now...  LOL.  It's laughable at this point how silly your hate for anyone that calls out coaching is.  Even though you have obviously begun to shift your narrative to coaching... I mean, really.  Did you even read what I bolded and think what you just wrote all the way through?  It's the same things I've been saying for 2 seasons now!  But, no.  The delicate genius needs to be the one that points them out.
