Under the radar potential draftees....

Quote:Desir is a nice prospect but is still pretty raw. Mathis was a better prospect. He played at a higher level than Desir and was the Div 1-AA Defensive Player of the Year. I would say Mathis was also faster.

I don't consider players that actually execute big plays as "raw". Desir totaled 25 INT his college career. Every single season he consistently proved to haul in a decent number of INT or better.

When I hear the term "raw" used on a player, I think of a player that may have the "measurables"/ "timed speed"/ athleticism etc etc.... but that never really translated to on-field uber-production yet. Such as Logan Thomas, for example...

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
