The switch to the 4-3 from the 3-4 isn't the problem.  But when you take out JHA and Travon Walker regularly because of some delusional need to "rotate" players so you put scrubs in at DE during key situations, you get exactly the performance that you expect which is total suckness.  

The D coordinator isn't putting players in position to make plays.  Other teams have starter missing and they're able to compensate, but not the Jags.  32nd ranked defense in the league despite a lot of high priced free agents this offseason.

Bad coaching.  We've been dealing with bad coaching for 2 seasons now.  Doug thought he could just ride off into the sunset.  And then things went bad in 2023.  And then he thought he could hire another DC to fix it...  When it was his lack of passion all along.

He gave up.  He is a lazy bum.  And his team reflects his coaching.
