I'm no technical whiz, but I know a good player when I see one. When you watch Robinson play he's very smooth and agile. I know he runs a route tree that is similar to an NFL route tree via the head coach he played under the past 2 years. (O Brien). Good hands, creates separation pretty well and also seems to be pretty good with YAC yards as well, as I seen him take more than a few short passes for long gains. In that aspect he has great field vision for gaining YAC yards as opposed to being someone like Evans who is simply stronger than a lot of his defenders and breaks a lot of tackles. He's definitely a quick-twitch athlete. Robinson can & does win one on one battles for jump balls too. Again, maybe not as good as someone like a Mike Evans, but thats why Mike Evans is going in the top 15 and Robinson is projected in round 3. Despite any limitations (which are slight) that Robinson may have, he has still been a very productive WR for the Nittany Lions over the last several years, topping 1000 yards one year and over 1400 the other one. His YPC numbers were where you would like to see them from a WR prospect; in the teens or above. As far as negatives if there are any, its that his frame might be a little thinner than you'd like (but by no means is this a skeleton we're talking about)...but again, he's probably not going to break as many tackles as some stronger counterparts. (he's 6' 3" around 210-215 lbs) 

 

What makes Robinson NOT worthy of a pick at that level is what I'd like to know from you?? Everything I've seen from him suggests bargain at that price. (Jags 3rd rounder)
