That's an interesting point and especially if you can't get the HC's your after and are scrambling. Just looking at the standings, 11 teams have 2-3 wins so far. That seems crazy high but just to show

Jets 3-6
Miami 2-6
Patriots 2-7
Browns 2-7
Jags 2-7
T*tans 2-7
Raiders 2-7
Cowboys 3-5
Giants 2-7
Panthers 2-7
Saints 2-7

There could be a lot of teams looking for new HC's this offseason then there's teams like the Bengals and Bears who are in the last chance saloon. I don't want McCoy and don't want to be in a spot where he may get the job by default. The way our luck is we'd probably fire Doug, not get our top 5 targets then rehire him a week later.
