I had Van Noy going to Tampa right before our pick until they traded away Mike Williams today. That means they will draft a WR early. If they don't get Watkins in the first (they may trade up with Jags now), then they definitely take one in the 2nd.
I don't see us taking Mettenberger for a couple of reasons. First of all, he has character issues (drinking and a rape allegation). Caldwell does not want another chance of a problem like Blackmon). Secondly, his ACL will not be 100% when the season starts I don't think. Whichever QB the Jags take, he will be their primary back-up. I'm pretty sure they will want him 100% for camp and the start of the season. |
