There are a ton of things you can blame on just Trevor alone:  The bad throws, the horrible misses, the throwing into triple coverage, the leading the league in turnovers stat is one way ticket to losing.

The Answer is the team wasn't great at getting Talent but either was Trevor.  If you put Trevor Lawrence in the place of either Josh Allen or Pat Mahomes (Put Lawrence on either the chiefs or bills roster) He would have no where near the same production as them.  Why do I say that?  Lawrence isn't as accurate, isn't as smart in the pocket, doesn't know how to look receivers off, misses too many open ones, etc.  Lawrence has so many holes in his game it's like swiss cheese.   Sorry but I am done drinking the koolaid.  His stats prove it.  He career is Low on Td's, High on Ints, High on fumbles, high on sacks (many you can put on him for holding the ball too long)

I am just sick of this narrative that Lawrence is great and the problem is the team around him.  Lawrence is a good QB that is not Great no matter how you slice it.  Do not take my word for it, look how experts outside of the Jaguars fan base see him.  They see what he shows on the field and it is occasionally impressive but most of the time it's obnoxious.

Lawrence for sure has his own set of issues. No one has EVER denied that. But on the list of things the Jaguars aren't good at, QB play isn't one of them.

They spent a ton of receivers but you think Gabe Davis was money well spent? Just because they spent the money doesn't mean it was spent wisely.

This franchise has failed miserably. It's a carbon copy of what the clots did with Luck. 

If the Jags said "We are willing to trade Trevor Lawrence", you would see a ton of GMs around the league offering multiple first round picks for him. He's only 25 and its pretty obvious at this point that the franchise has failed him before he has failed the franchise.

I am simply going to disagree with you. Lawrence injury history combined with his lack of results on the field have devalued him. You would get a desperate team giving a first but you are expecting new car prices for a car with thousands of miles on it and engine repair history.

I disagree. I think opposing coaches like playing the Jaguars became they know Lawrence is good for a turnover or 3, and the Jags are an easy win in most cases. Good god man, Lawrence has about a half of dozen games that he didn't break 200 yards passing this season. That is with a stud like BJT playing.

In comparison, put a Qb like Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, hell even this year's Sam Darnold caliber to start for Jacksonville and repeat the season.

I am dropping 3 grand to Vegas of us making the playoffs. Just my take
