Well, it's not like your brain can accurately interpret what you're seeing anyway.

I've stopped listening to my brain months ago.  But my eyes still tell me that JHA did not perform to the contract we signed him to.  This was clearly a down year for him.  And it's not just me that thinks that:

I could take back the hyperbole of calling him "invisible".  But honestly, there are times throughout every game where I forget that there's a 41 on the field at all.  We paid the guy good money.  For the money we paid him, he didn't live up to the expectations any of us had for him.

Saying he "played well" based on the expectations for him this year is an indictment, not a defense.

Yeah, I get it, our DC is trash and our interior D-Linemem were not getting the job done either.  But a guy like 41 should have still been able to perform better than he did.  Just my opinion, but I think he had a disappointing year.
