Why do we need to give them the opportunity to choose deportation destinations when they've entered illegally?  We're not running a Club Med here.

Of course I understand it requires a trial to imprison someone in the US. That's one of our key values. It's the fifth amendment and it's the 14th amendment. 
Of course I understand that we can't control what happens in El Salvador. 
But when we deport someone, we get to choose where they go. If we choose to send them somewhere that will imprison them without trial, that choice is violating their fifth and 14th amendment rights.
And I did not say we should give them the opportunity to choose where they go. Choose is not the word I used. I said plead. If they have a specific reason to want to go to one city and not another, that's something we should consider, but only within reason. The place we send them has to accept them, also. 
So as much as we want to be a big swinging [BLEEP] and just say these people aren't our problem anymore, when you load somebody onto a bus or a plane, you are responsible for them, at least for a while.
