Off the field, he can't handle pressure at all. Look up the story ESPN's magazine did on him, where it talks about his massive ego, his alcoholism, and his dad's assertion that he would have been happier in jail than at Texas A&M. How do you think this kid's going to do if he blows a couple of games and the local media--or worse, the national media--is all over him for it? Violent temper + alcoholism + inability to handle off-field pressure = Kerry Collins.

 

I think Manziel was able to handle an enormous amount of off field pressure.  More pressure than any other player in the draft.  And likely more pressure than he'll have to ever handle off the field in the pros.  Especially if he goes to the Jags and not the NY Jets.

 

The other QB prospects have not faced nearly the same amount of scrutiny and pressure as Manziel.
