I think it would be easier to put the qbs NOT written off. I like bridgewater and manziel in the first. Mccarron and mettenberger in the 2nd preferably the 3rd. Shaw and Murray in the 5th or later.

I'm softening on him, but Manziel's bust potential scares me. A little guy who runs around a lot just doesn't work very often at this level. I'd avoid.

 

Unless you're in a situation where you have an franchise QB, I don't see the point in taking a career backup types like McCarron, Murray and Boyd. Swing for the fences if you are going to pick in the mid rounds.

QBs I dont want at any point is Murray or Logan Thomas, Murray would be a wasted pick since he will never be a franchise QB, you should only use your QB pick on a career backup if you have somebody like Brady or Manning as your starter not when your in bad shape at the position. 

 

Logan Thomas was terrible in college and in the last 20 years no terrible college QB ever magically became good in the NFL, most QBs that are good in college cant make it in the NFL. 

 

Carr and Brotles is a no based on where they will be needed to be drafted, tho in the 2nd I would be fine

 

Other then that I do like a few guys for the 2nd round tho

Bortles overrated, doesn't elevate his team, and suspect decisionmaking. Mettenburger : Statue. McCarron : Tattoos. Boyd : Poor decisionmaking and anticlutch, would be undrafted if it weren't for his weapons

The only guys that I'd feel funny about are Boyd and Logan Thomas.

But I'm not writing them off. They have just haven't impressed me as having what it takes to succeed at the next level.
