St Louis is probably looking to take WR or OT (They probably have 4 players graded fairly equally Watkins, Evans, Robinson, and Matthews). #2 pick takes Clowney then one of those players will be there at #3 or #6.....


So that is why I feel we would need to give up more than just a 2nd round pick if we tried to trade with Saint Louis. If they go by just 2nd round picks alone an argument could be made they have a better deal with Atlanta. Plus if we both offered 2nd round picks I don't think ATL would have a problem adding in a 4th round pick or a pick next year. Not to mention Fisher doesn't like us anyway (though that probably wouldn't play a part in the decision).....



Back to my point if the team is even considering possibly giving a 2nd round pick to St Louis (which as I detailed would be a harder trade to accomplish). We mind as well just give the 2nd round pick to Houston and move to the #1 pick and take Clowney if the team feels he is that type of player.

I wouldn't mind trading #3 and #70 as well as a 2nd round pick next year to move to #1 and select Clowney.
