I thought that this story may have been some unfounded rumor but then I came across this on news4jax:

KISS is one part of the ownership group of the new Los Angeles franchise. Perhaps not coincidentally, Jeff Bouchy is a partner with the Sharks while his brother is one of the partners of the L.A. franchise. Jon Bon Jovi was the owner of the Philadelphia Soul until 2010.

Neil’s intentions are not clear at this time but reportedly he’s interested in knowing how a franchise works and is interested in potentially putting a franchise in Las Vegas.
