I am only saying we make a trade like that (either 2nd round this year, or 3rd round this year and 2nd round next year) if they really believe he is an HOF player. If the team believes that without a doubt then that is a very good trade.
Because we need those 2nd rounders and 3rd rounders to continue to build this team. Clowney can not win you a championship by himself. Mack/Watkins and lets say Teddy in the 2nd this year are better than just having Clowney.

 

Clowney is not Luck. If this were 2 years ago, I would absolutely say lets trade our 2nd this year or something for him. Luck CAN change a franchise by himself but Clowney can not. Reggie White needed Favre to win. A HOF DE is very very different than a HOF QB.
