If you like the date, you're in the minority based on the overall feedback I've seen and heard in the media.  The commissioner seems to think it needs to be revisited as well, so again, you're in the minority.

 

I understand the time being taken away from the players to get coached.  Rookies will have less interaction with their team which hurts the game.  At the same time, the team and players will have some time off from the rigors of that will follow them everyday from draft day to the end of the season.  It's always important to have enough time off when you are working hard.  Go slow to go fast.
