How am I taking a cheap shot?? :wacko: :wacko: I loved the player!! I actually blame coaching that instead of draining it into the skill players minds that they had to get every yard should instead have been preaching "pick your battles" and take the sideline (just go out of bounds) on some instances and live to play another down, especially when the potential benefit is only a few more feet of yardage, otherwise. The hit might have been cheap (low at knees) but thats exactly the kind of hit you avoid when you just go out of bounds rather than fighting for that extra 15-30 inches of field position. Jerry Rice made a (longer) career of doing just as I suggest. 

 

I guess when people WANT to view another poster in a certain light, they will use their agenda to craft it that way.
