I see you completely ignore the fact that his momentum was carrying him. Since you're not touching that one with the proverbial ten foot poll, I assume you googled it and saw that you're completely off base about the hit. Despite your flailing and desperate attempts to make this somehow the fault of the Jags, it was not.
