For the pick I'll go Garrard. I was not a big fan of Garrard, but he was a decent starting QB in spite of having horrendous WRs and only one year (2007) with a quality OL. Those who choose Rob Johnson = Fred Taylor have a reasonable argument, but the Jags got lucky picking Taylor, Coughlin wanted Curtis Enis that draft.

 

Wow, I disagree. 

 

I thought Tavian was indeed something special. He had legit 4.4. speed (if not faster) and quickness that was off the charts. 

 

I guess you don't remember some of the brief flashes of brilliance he'd show. I remember him taking a short pass almost 50 yards in the Miami MNF game, and he'd always make huge plays when he got PT in the pre season. 

 

His biggest issue was he was behind both Fred and James....then came the hit vs Atlanta that knocked him out for good. 

 

I firmly believe had he stayed healthy, he would have been our version of Darren Sproles (before Sproles was ever known).
