Anyway, I'm not sure why you have "medicinal" in parentheses, the NFLPA's desire to study the effects of medical marijuana is really a side subject of the article. This is instead a recognition by the NFL that marijuana use is not as harmful as the other substances that get players in trouble. It also seems like they recognize the inevitability of use by many players. They are changing the threshold, meaning how much THC must be detected to "fail" a test. That must mean that a certain amount detected is ok. It's a remarkable development.
