Nobody is arguing he's not one of the best in the league.  It's all about the money with him.  There aren't teams that will be happy to give up a high draft pick so they can eat that contract.

 

WHile a trade is unlikely, I would say amongst the leading teams that might trade for AJ would be New England.

 

They have placed an emphasis on acquiring veteran talent before, like Corey Dillon and Randy Moss.

 

They have made acquisitions this year indicating they are still in win now mode.

 

Certainly you can make arguments for or against the viability of a trade for AJ by any team, and TBH, it's more likely all of this blows over with AJ remaining a Texan.

 

But based on New England's prior history, I could see them taking a run on AJ if the price were right.
