Maybe he should have thought about that a few years ago when he signed his last contract. It's not like he had long to go before free agency, then he could have gotten a mega deal anywhere he wants, instead of having to have it in Houston.

Texans trade:

-Andre Johnson

-Conditional Pick: 3rd if Ryan Mallett starts more than 8 games. 4th if he doesn't.

Patriots trade:

-Ryan Mallett

-2015 2nd Round Pick

Or something like that.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Life is tough.  Nobody is going to trade for that contract.  He's frustrated because he's had to play for 3 head coaches in 12 years?  There are guys on the Jags who played for 4 head coaches in 3 years.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The Pats aren't going to eat that contract.  Johnson can sit out all he wants.  He's stuck.

I say Cleveland trades for him. They have a huge need at WR and the cap space for a trade....unlike most other teams

Exactly.

When they dangled the dollars in front of him he didn't hesitate to grab them as quick as he could.

I can recall rumblings from years past that he wanted out of Houston, he should have just exercised a little bit of restraint and went into free agency.

SMH.

A little voice just told me:

Andre Johnson to Browns, for Manziel.

Don't know how I feel about that. 99.9% chance that is just an unfounded rumor.

0% chance that happens. also hahahahahahahahahahah trindon. hahahahahahaha even if andre stays, clearly he isnt in the best mindset to be a texan.

edit: browns fans would literally overthrow ownership if they dealt manziel.

Wouldn't worry about that.

Browns are only interested in trading players for 1st round picks.  They want ALL the 1st round picks.

Johnson upset Texans didn't trade up for Teddy. Texans were trying to be cute, and Johnson doesn't have any more patience

He's upset that he's turning 33 years old, without a Ring, and is going to finish out his final twilight years on a rebuilding team with a new drill Sargent disciplinarian minded head coach  learning a completely new offensive philosophy with completely different terminology.

I agree, 0% chance, but Manziel isn't exactly fitting in Cleveland already.

With Clevelands need at WR, I suppose anything is possible.

Apparently the $100,000 they spent on an analytics report didn't mention Manziel's personality anywhere.  Their scouts probably also didn't pay attention to it.
