Quote:Germany, France, and Canada aren't third world countries. Neither are Australia, New Zealand, or the Scandanavian countries. They are nice places to live with populations that aren't forced to work nearly as hard as our own to earn the same modest standard of living. Every country listed is sucking on the teat of America's defense largess. If only we could also spend pennies on the dollar for the protection of shared economic sea lanes and interests around the world. But how you begin to draw a parallel between the narrow relative effort to live in different first world countries as opposed to slaving just to exist in a third world country is beyond me. |
