Have you ever believed that weed serves a legitimate medicinal purpose in the recovery of injuries in regards to pain management and decreasing inflammation? If so, then there's certainly a degree of performance enhancing qualities. It appears that you're getting caught up in the "Example A is less beneficial than Example B, so Example A should be permitted" scenario.


HGH, Clenbuterol, Test E, Trenbolone, and other steroids get a knock on them because they're steroids, but they can't help the body in the same way that weed helps the body. While its much more apparent how much steroids help an athlete, the amount of "help" marijuana gives athletes is still present.

I'm just getting caught up in the ridiculousness of the argument. Should we make meat illegal for athletes? I mean it has protein in it and enhances performance. Water also helps with recovery. So do bananas. There are many things that help with pain management and inflammation that are natural. You realize almost everything helps athletes one way or another. Maybe we should ban working out? That bench press, squats, press, sprints, etc... helps to enhance their performance on the field.
