Just something fun to kick around.

 

WHAT IF...........

 

The NFL did the draft first, and followed with free agency. The closest thing we've had to that were the "June cuts" of the '90s. Teams unloaded players for cap reasons and whatnot. This would be completely different in that no free agency would happen until after the draft.

 

It would completely change the offseason strategy of all the teams and GMs. Would it be better or worse? Would it be more or less interesting?

 

 

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.
