I mean, its not as if this is someone like Larry Fitz, Jerry Rice or even Jimmy Smith. Why should Blackmon respect what some scrub TE has to say???....

 

Personally, I think Jimmy Smith makes the most sense to try and being in, since he's truly been there, and can give an actual first hand account of what road that type of life can lead you down. ..


You do understand it has nothing to do with on field play, right? The team asked Lewis to mentor him. I'm sure they felt he was the right choice or that wouldn't have been the case. I know you've got an obsession with Lewis, but you're being ridiculous here.


Lewis himself explained the reasoning. It makes sense. The team isn't going to reach out to Jimmy Smith. Talk about Blackmon saying "who is this guy?" Jimmy Smith is just a name to Blackmon. Lewis is a teammate. Big difference.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
