If we went with a first round pass rusher, I'm leaning towards Devonte Fields. I think he would fit a LEO role well. He seems to use his hands well and has a pretty impressive pass rush arsenal, especially considering they were displayed as a true freshman. He was the BIg 12 defensive player of the year as a true freshman with 18.5 TFL and 10 sacks. He missed almost all of last year with a broken foot. He received a medical redshirt and is a redshirt sophomore this year.
I haven't been sold on Gregory or Calhoun yet. I would like to watch more of Kyler Frackell this year. He is one to keep an eye on. |
