Quote:True. They should do it like they do in the NFL, where you lose a game and your eliminated from the playoff stage. The system is much like the NFL's, except done in a much shorter time frame. You can equate divisions to the groupings in the World Cup. Everyone plays one another....if there is a tie, it comes down to previous results. There are ties every year after week 17 in the NFL season. Just because a team loses in week 17 and has the same record as a team they beat twice during the season doesn't they shouldn't go into the playoffs, does it? |
