Per game attendance in the MLS is higher then the NBA, the MLS just expanded again and the league is really doing well. The popularity is only rising. And I think alot of people view it as not an "American" sport. But it's also one of those things where it's mostly the old guard bashing it. People 40 and under are the ones driving it's popularity. I think it's also really cool that Jacksonville has emerged as one of the bigger soccer markets. |
