I agree with this, OP.

I do believe the offense will make a few splashes though - especially late in the season as you suggest. There is so much potential lurking among the additions of Lee, Robinson, Bortles, Gerhart etc. Plus - the development of D-Rob is still intriguing to me. I think he will make the highlight reel a couple of times this year. The offense may sputter at times with Henne behind center - but I think we'll see more big plays this season from them - and I think #89 will have a very productive season under Fisch's developing playbook.

Still - the D will be more effective overall IMO.
