And, I think you're off in that assessment anyway. Adding one of the best talents at the position in the league will not "cause dissent" in the locker room.

I believe your assessment of my assessment is incorrect. You trying to tell me that Shorts, Lee, Brown, Robinson are not going to be peeved if they start losing reps to him even if only during practice to see if the drunk can still even compete. Funny that you don't seem to mind labels unless they are attached to someone you are a fan boy of.
