Pretty much this...a RB just doesn't have near the impact or the value to be going top 20.  

 

Looking at RBs drafted early (1/2 rd) these past few drafts:

 

2014: Sankey//Hill  but 3rd rounders Hyde/Archer/West seem to look better this early (too early to really make a call on this year)

 

2013: Bennard//Lacy have looked the part but once again were 2nd rounders...5th/6th rounders Stacy//M. James made impacts for their teams as well.

 

2012: Richardson (haha)//Doug Martin (was behind 6th rounder M.James on total carries)//Wilson were the 1st round picks...do any seem like they were worth it?  Benard Pierce///Vick Ballard//Bryce Brown all came 3rd round or later and have have impacts at a ton better value.

 

2011: Ingram//Leshoure//Thomas//Williams have done nothing of note for their draft pick status....Demarco Murray//Roy Helu//Ridley all had bigger or similar impacts and all came round 3 or later.
