Stanzi has accrued three years in the NFL by virtue of his having been on the 53-man roster for the entire 2011 and 2012 seasons, and the entire 2013 season minus one game. I believe that makes him ineligible for the practice squad.


He has to be on the active roster (46 game day active) for 6 games to accrue a season. It isn't just being on the 53 man roster.
