Has Stephen Morris shown enough to be the PS QB?

#1

My opinion, Hes shown poise and pocket presence but not much else. His arm is ok, Accuracy is terrible and instincts suspect. Also seems prone to checking down every play.

Let him go, I think I've seen enough of him to say he isn't worth developing

I'd rather have him than Stanzi.

Not really

the benefit to morris over stanzi is that morris can stay on the PS whereas stanzi would take a roster spot.

it doesnt hurt to have morris around and i think he looks a little better every time he plays. could develop into a decent backup for the near future.

I say no. He doesn't deserve it.

Is there a rule that once a player makes a 53-man roster he can't be demoted to the practice squad?

Why? He never did anything.

Scott at this point is better, but Morris could improve, he will go to the PS anyways, even if we keep Stanzi, PS can have 10 players no way a QB is not one

I wish they also changed the active roster to 55. The number 53 never made any sense.

Why not?

25 - Offense

25 - Defense

3 - ST

Who else are you going to put on the practice squad? Some guy who can't make another team's practice squad?

I don't think he's practice squad eligible.

Stanzi is supposedly eligible.

Matt Scott was cut from Cincinnati, so he's available.

Weird. I'll never understand the practice squad. I'd take stanzi in that case.

Personally I wasn't a fan of Morris coming out, even as an UDFA and I'm not a fan now.  My answer would be no.
