ICE BUCKET FRAUD: ALS FOUNDATION ADMITS THAT 73% OF DONATIONS ARE NOT USED FOR ALS RESEARCH
|
Quote:I think in the past I read the wounded warriors project is one of the worse something like only 13% goes towards the actual donations. I think it's closer to 58%. It's not one of the worst -- but it could certainly be much better. There's a veterans charity that calls us pretty often called Foundation for American Veterans. They give only 6% of their donations towards actual help. A lot of these groups (ESPECIALLY veterans groups) mess with their numbers in such ways that they look more charitable than they actually are. There needs to be reform with what is considered a charity and what's not. We're always careful about who we donate to. Because $10.00 to one place can do more than $100.00 to another.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
