Jags predicted "under the radar" to make playoffs

Quote:If Henne were to start the entire year (I'm doubtful this will happen), all he would need to do is limit the mistakes.  He doesn't have to become Peyton Manning or Tom Brady.  Just minimize the mistakes on the offense, and you'll see marked improvement.

For the team to make the playoffs under Henne, he needs to play efficiently, and the defense needs to meet and even exceed expectations for this year.  These are two things that can definitely happen, and in a division as down as the AFCS is this year, the odds aren't nearly as long as some folks might think.  If Bortles does step in (which I do expect to see happen), the odds get even better for this team.

Do I think this team makes the post season this year?  No.  But I do think they're going to be better than most expect.  If things fall their way, there's no reason to think they couldn't find their way back in the playoffs sooner than expected.
I'm not too certain how "down" the division is this year.

The Colts have their weaknesses, but they did win in the playoffs last year, and as long as they have a healthy Luck, they will be a threat.

I don't know about how viable the Texans' offense will be, especially with the uncertainty at QB and a new scheme.  But their defense should be formidable with Watt and Clowney.

The stinkin' tacks are transitioning to a 3-4 and it may take time for it to take hold, but they have some good coaches, and it Mettenberger can solidify their QB situation (I am not sold on Locker), they will be tough, too.

Are there some vulnerabilities in the other teams?  Absolutely.

Are the Jaguars team enough to take advantage of them?  Unknown.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!
