They also think Bortles will win OROY and be starting by week 3.

Everyone knows Henne stinks. It's like a joke now...

Of course they are all assuming Blake Bortles will start this year. Wtihout him in the huddle, the Jaguars can only play spoiler in playoff races.

That said, I think it is smart to start Chad Henne against the Eagles and take our time getting Blake Bortles ready. Our offensive line is not helping him and he still has footwork issues.

A lot of people are assuming Bortles will start this year. It's not really much of a stretch.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

But we all know the coaches are not going to rush him and he must earn a promotion. I don't think he will start against the Colts in Week 3 like some people expect. Whether we are under the radar as a playoff team or not depends partly on how long Gus Bradley puts off making a quarterback switch.

Bortles will be starting before the bye week.

That could mean Week 10. We have a late bye this season.

As I've said before... BB5 takes a back seat to no one... The coaching staff is politically correct BUT BB5 has shown that he has The It Factor to spark our team to success...

Henne can't win, I mean he just can't win.

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

He probably also will hear "We want Bortles" chants several times.

I hope I don't have to hear that when we host the Colts.

I had the weirdest dream. It was week 1 and chad henee started the game and Bortles came in after the half and lead us to a comeback to bring us to within 2, I think the score was 15-17. Then for some reason when Bortles drove into the redzone with three seconds left they put Henee back in. Idk why we didnt kick a field goal. But henee threw incomplete and we lost lol

I bet there have been some weirder dreams than that, but it certainly is not something any of us can expect to happen.

Jacksonville's frisky defense will help keep the Jaguars in games until Bortles replaces the painfully bland Chad Henne.

Ouch, that was harsh words...

Yeah, actually, that description of Henne is pretty accurate and possibly even a bit positive considering his play. I'm hoping Henne has a great year, or at least a great start to the season.  But he's been in the league long enough to predict that he'll be the same guy he's ever been.  He isn't very accurate and can make alot of bone head decisions when he throws deed and intermediate passes.

Sunday could very well be a very long day for the Jags.  The Eagles offense has so many weapons, we'll more than likely be playing from 7 points behind very early in the game, which will cause our offense to start forcing the issue.  If Henne can be smart and keep the defense guessing, we might have a chance.  But if Henne plays like his old self, we'll be in trouble.

I don't think we make the playoffs regardless who is under center.  Sure Bortles has looked great and I am excited about him, but he's still a rookie surrounded by rookie receivers and some questionable O-lineman in front of him.

Its great that everyone else notices how awesome Blake Bortles is besides us, http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...redictions

I hope he starts sooner than later, I would rather see him struggle and learn while playing than watch a full season with Chad Henne (boring)..

He's done pretty well for himself.
