This team would need a defense to approach the level of the 2000 Ravens for this team to make the playoffs with Henne as QB.

 

I think Henne is going to play better than anyone really expects him to this year.  That's not saying he's going to become an elite QB, but I think he's going to be a more efficient, effective starter than we've seen previously.  I still expect him to make mistakes, but I tend to think that with the weapons we've added on the field, it can only help his cause. 

 

Now, I'm also expecting Bortles to supplant him at some point.  I don't anticipate having Henne as the starter for the entire season, which also plays into the chances of this team making the post season. 

 

We don't need a defense on par with the 2000 Ravens.  The 2007 Jaguar defense will do just fine.  That was a top 10 defense that kept the team in close games and the offense did just enough to win.  I'm not predicting 12 wins, but 8 or 9 wins could take this division if things go our way.
