Meh, I think folks focus too much on his first half of last season and perhaps hold that impression (to a fault.)

 

He was pretty efficient the second half of the year, and has pleased the coaches so far with his efficiency in the system.

 

He's certainly not the hot garbage we've had in the past.  Going by the numbers, he's got us back to the Garrard years prior to his tanking.  Yes, we deserve better than that.  But that's taken care of, too as Bortles is the guy of the future.

 

I have zero doubt it's possible Henne could get this team into the playoffs with our division as bad as it is.  Worse QBs have.  Does that necessarily make us contenders?  No.  But it does bode well for the next few years, when we'll probably be labeled contenders as early as next year.
