This is really interesting.  I don't have any idea what kinds of weird offensive concepts Gus Bradley has in mind.  Unlike Carroll, he's kind of conservative.  A lot of Seahawks fans blame him for being too soft on defense a couple years ago at the end of the Atlanta playoff game.  They were 36 seconds from victory, and he was playing dime defense against Julio Jones, Roddy White, and the worlds greatest tight end in the world.  The truth was three things:  1)Tony Gonzales, 2)losing their best pass rusher in Chris Clemmons by ripping up his ACL on the same day that RGIII did on that crappy field in Washington, and 3) The most brutal travel schedule in NFL playoff history.

 

I have always loved Denard Robinson, except when he was throwing the football.  I couldn't believe he was a Heisman Trophy Candidate, but then you look at his measurables.  Robinson ran a faster 40 at the combine than Percy Harvin.  He's a couple inches taller and about ten pounds heavier.

 

Of course, this was before Harvin got the hip surgery.  I folllowed Seahawks training camp very closely and kept hearing two things from every outside observer:  1)This is the fastest team in the NFL, and 2)Percy Harvin and Earl Thomas are on a completely other level of speed.  In fact, Harvin was getting a heavy dose of one on one with Harvin that sometimes got a little chippy.

 

But, yeah, I could see him doing it.  I'd love to see him do it.  I really like Denard Robinson as an athlete in this mold.  He might only be Dexter McCluster, but would you take that?

 

I think this might be his niche.
