Apparently it was a pretty serious hamstring injury, so Gabbert will probably be out for some time. Regardless, the St. Louis game was an awful performance and it would serve him well to get back and compete at a higher level than that if he wants to remain in this team's plans.
Unfortunately the body of work Gabbert has accumulated here as a Jag is enough to solidify Gus and Caldwell in wanting to move in a different direction. I'm beyond grateful that the GM didn't choose a different QB, as this year's draft class is ripe with QB talent. |
