Gabbert is the best option for getting a franchise QB

They can't play Gabbert again until Henne stinks it up, but after last week it's a given they have to go with Henne.

Apparently it was a pretty serious hamstring injury, so Gabbert will probably be out for some time. Regardless, the St. Louis game was an awful performance and it would serve him well to get back and compete at a higher level than that if he wants to remain in this team's plans.

Unfortunately the body of work Gabbert has accumulated here as a Jag is enough to solidify Gus and Caldwell in wanting to move in a different direction. I'm beyond grateful that the GM didn't choose a different QB, as this year's draft class is ripe with QB talent.

He's the best option to alienate the fans and put the team on it's way to LA.

I'm worried about this game, I think we have a great chance to win it.

Gabbert isn't playing another game as starter.

He's how Gabbert's career has been so far.

2011: 14 starts,  1 game injured, 1 game benched

2012: 9 starts, 3 games injured

2013: 3 starts, 2 games injured

Since becoming starter in 2011, he's only started 72% of the games

Since becoming starter in 2011, he's only played 53% of the games all the way through

And of all starts, he only made it through the entire game 73% of the time.

It was extremely crazy to see Blackmon get near 200 yards and not 1 Td.

So?  If you didn't see how much more balls came Blackmon's way under Henne, I don't know what to tell you...  Unless you just put up that post to start a debate.  Unwhich case, I say...  So?

I'd rather watch Blackmon with Henne at QB over Gabbert anyday.

Blackmon has clearly benefitted from Henne.  Anyone remember Elaine's pass that sailed 20 yards past Gabbert last week?  That won't help anyone.
