Or how about not gassing all of the timeouts we have in the second half before the 4th qtr. Something someone with his experience shouldn't be doing. That is a rookie mistake.

How about Lee dropping a big play? What about the D not using a time out and giving up a TD? How about having to call a riskier pass play on 4th and 1 because we couldn't effectively run for short yardage all day?

 

I'm not saying Henne played great, but there is a lot of blame to go around. I just don't subscribe to the view that Henne played worse than he actually did because he wasn't able to overcome not only his but also the multitude of other people's mistakes and carry the team on his back to victory.

 

Henne was hot in the beginning, cooled off at the end, scored a couple of TDs, and didn't throw INTs and had no running game to help him out. A pretty average NFL game for a QB under those circumstances. Very much an efficient game especially for a guy like Henne.
