They're going through great pains to try to look incompetent right now. You have a guy at the top of your draft board, and then roll with "chad gives us the best chance right now". BS. Gus told ryan o that the offense wouldnt have to be scaled back for blake if he played, so what are we waiting for?

He's at the same level as Chad (at least). The players have expressed similar feelings. So there's absolutely no excuse to waste time with the veteran right now. There just isn't. You should expect the guy at the top of your draft board to be an immediate difference maker for your team, not a clipboard holder for a guy who's already led your team to the bottom of the league for two straight years.


So you must start a QB on opening day if you drafted him high? Otherwise it was a wasted pick?


It's up fathomable that a guy could be at the top of your board yet still require time to develop? Teams don't draft a player for anything beyond opening day?


Take a deep breath.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
