Sure they might hold teams to less points, but, I'm just not impressed with the defense at all. I don't think they're good enough to consistently win with, whether or not the offense does anything on the other side of the ball. :confused: Maybe not. But if you suddenly hold opponents to 28 instead of 40, and your own offense can score 24... well, you have a game, and maybe even a shot to win at the end. If your offense is holding some of that time of possession and scoring a few points of their own, suddenly the games look a lot closer. If that happens to give the defense a little more time to breath, and maybe they make a stop or two they might not have otherwise, even better. |
